Wateirng the flower garden for Anne.

SMILE!

These are 2 of the smaller fish that Donny and Zee caught on their latest trip to lake Pickwick!

Cameron's favorite thing to do is play in water and jumpin puddle's. When we took a visit to Phoenix last summer to see a friend, she suggested we go to a little amusment park called Fiddlestix. after paying an ungodly amount of money to get in, we tried Cameorn on every ride, but none of them captured his attention like the broken sprinkler that wa spewing water everywhere! He played in that puddle for at least 2 hours; I wish I would have known that before hand and could have saved us some money, and just bought him a sprinkler!

this is one of the many Lilly's in the front yard, unfortunately the camera did something wierd so the picture turned out 2 toned, but I still think the flowers are gorgeous.

My favorite Lilly- the Star Gazer!

Sunny day's

Donny and Cameron, being silly I can't believe I caught them both being still in this one. it's close to impossible to get them both in a good picture.

We finally had a break in the heat wave, and I found myself enjoying temperatures closer to Flagstaff's climate. My mom will be here on Wednesday hopefully, So I will be able to curb some of my homesickness with her!

We are in the process of Potty training Cameron right now and it is actually going unbelievabley well!! he hasn't worn a pull up in 2 day's (except at night) and loves peeing on trees! I am happy to say we haven't had even 1 accident yet. I have no idea what i was so wrried about pottytraining is a cake walk!!

Frustrations on the home front

I haven't been as loyal to my blog as i should be..... we haven't had too many exciting adventures as of late but i do have some great pictures that i will put up hopefully by the weekend.
I never realized how frustrating it is to find a home when it's not in a town you grew up in and know soo many people!! We have come to a complete halt on our home search and now are just waiting for a perfect one to pop up, hopefully saving us some more let-downs.
The weather here is HOT HOT HOT! I woke up this morning at around 7:30 and and by 10 am it was already 90 degreees in the shade so i think with the humidity it was about 105 holy crow! what have i goten myself into! it's not even August!

CAMERON AND HIS FROG'S PLAYLAND...

The Rain and cameron's frog

It seems like almost every morning we have been getting rain, it reminds me of the monsoons in Flagstaff....I never thought I would miss those rainy day's sooo much. Cameron and I went out this morning after the menacing dark clouds and rumbling thunder had subsided and were attempting to put our shoes on to start our days adventure; when he called out that he had found a frog. I didn't pay much attention since he is always "finding" imaginary stuff, so he brought me his little pint sized croc and sure enough a little brown toad was nessled inside!! I was about to tell him to let it go by the pond and decided to just let him have his fun.
For the next hour I wastched in amazement as cameron took his new best friend on a tour of the yard. The frog learned all about sand boxes, buckets of water, cameron's new bike, the big tree in front, the flower boxes and "cringe" the cats...
I haven't seen the cats all day and cameron's frog is "missing"......hmmmm maybe it will rain frogs again tomorrow...

Cameron and the plants

The other day, Cameron was asking me about some plants that are in the front yard her. He says "what are these? are they dead? why dont they do anything?" I had to think about an answer for that one; I finally came up with one. I told him that They don't talk or anything they just sit there and listen to you, when you talk to them.
Now everytime he see's a plant he has to stop and have a full fledged conversation with it! it's very funny to watch because most of the time he will sit and wait for an answer and his brow will furrow in frustaration!

OUR FIRST THIRTY DAYS

So I believe we have now been in Tennessee for about 30 days. I am adjusting ok, this is the first time I have actually lived anywhere except Flagstaff (save for one juvinile galivant to phoenix) in my entire life. The people here are very nice, although I have yet to be invited on any play dates..I can't figure out if it's my tattoo's or Camerons incredible energy and inhuman ability to discover ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING to get himself stuck in, covered in, swarmed by, bit by or hurt by!

Since our arrival, we have Gone fishing in Anne and Zea's privatepond, seen a water moccasin, countless frogs, several turtles, millions of mosquitos, 1 tick (eww, in camerons hair) i very green tree frog on the front door, a copperhead snake, thousands of deer, several strange spiders, dozen's of worms ( cameron's best fwends as he puts it) gone fishing at lake pickwick which is actually a river with a dam, I caught my first real fish ( it was heavy and slimy and big!) Cameron has also become quite the fisherman catching a few small mouth bass and some brim!! donny has gotten to drive a tractor ( and cameron too). I can't forget my almost favorite thing of all! we went to Graceland and learned about all things ELVIS! And my most favorite of all cameron got his first 2 wheeler with no training wheels and actually rode by himself for about 15 feet until he looked back and saw I was no longer holding on!!
All in all this is one of our biggest adventures and I can't even express how scared I am and how nervous i am! I miss everyone so much especially mom and sarah! love you guys. thats all for now!!
